Click a row or focus the table, then use ↑ ↓, Page Up, Page Down, Home and End.
What it shows
- Windowed rendering: only the forty or so rows on screen exist in the DOM.
- A scaled scroll, because a million rows is taller than browsers allow an element to be.
- Sorting and search in a Web Worker, with keys packed into doubles for the native sort.
- A real grid for keyboards and screen readers: arrow keys, Page Up and Down, Home and End, row counts.
The same techniques keep the supervision and reporting screens I built for a national bank fast.
